Applying

Who can apply?

Creators aged 18 or over who live in the UK and post in English, on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. There is no minimum following.

Do I need a large following?

No. Follower count is not a judging criterion. Ninety per cent of the score is aesthetic, consistency and originality; community, at ten per cent, looks at how people respond to your posts, not how many follow it. Accounts under 25,000 followers can also apply for Rising Muse.

What do I submit?

No posts. After payment you choose whether the jury reviews your TikTok, your Instagram or both, any time before 23:59 UK time on Sunday 15 November. We follow and review those accounts. Your personal report follows on 30 November.

Which category do I apply for?

None: you apply once, and our team places your profile in the category where it fits best, in more than one where it fits. See all categories.

What is an invite code?

A personal code from our team, a partner or a creator who invited you. Add it on the form if you have one, so we know who sent you. It does not change your fee or how your entry is judged.

Do I have to be a full-time creator?

No. Many of the best feeds are made alongside another job. We judge the work, not the job title.

Can my agency or manager apply for me?

Yes, with your agreement. Every creator pays the same fee. Agencies applying for five or more creators can ask for one invoice: hello@themuseawards.group.

Can someone nominate me?

Anyone can send you the link to apply, and our partners and agencies may tell you they have put your name forward. Every entry is still made and paid for by the creator, at the same fee, and a nomination makes no difference to how it is judged.

Judging

Is this pay-to-win?

No. The fee pays for the review, not the result. Every entry is judged against the same four published criteria, and no fee, partner or follower count can buy a place on the shortlist. How judging works.

Who judges?

A jury of five to seven people from the creator scene, brand marketing, photography and press, including at least one member with no link to us or our partners. Their names are announced before judging begins.

What is the personal report?

A written review of your own account by our team, sent on 30 November: what already sets your profile apart, three to five specific changes shown on your own posts, a publishing plan until 17 January and references that fit your aesthetic. It is included in the fee and kept apart from judging. More about the report.

Does what I post after applying count?

Yes. The jury follows the accounts you applied with and looks at everything you publish between 1 December and 17 January. That is the point of the report: you have seven weeks to get better.

How do you spot bought followers?

A person reviews every account before the jury sees it: how followers grew over time, who comments and how. Entries with bought followers or engagement do not go forward and may be disqualified.

When will I hear?

Your personal report arrives on 30 November. Finalists are announced on Saturday 30 January 2027, and we write to every entrant that day, whether or not you are a finalist.

Fees and refunds

How much does it cost?

€20 per entry. Your personal report is included. Prices include any VAT. There are no other fees.

Is the €20 a ticket?

No. It is your entry: the review by hand, your personal report on what the jury and brands look for, and consideration in every category. Seats on the night are for finalists and their guests, free of charge. Forty public tickets go on sale on 30 January.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Withdraw within 14 days of applying, or at any time before entries close if that is later, and we refund you in full. Reply to your confirmation email to withdraw. If the ceremony is cancelled, every entry fee is refunded without you asking.

How do I pay?

By card through Shopify Payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay where your browser supports them. You receive a receipt by email.

The evening

What do finalists receive?

Two seats at the awards evening on Saturday 13 February 2027, a printed invitation posted in the first week of February and a digital finalist kit. Finalists never pay for their seats. The evening.

Can I come if I am not a finalist?

Forty public tickets go on sale on 30 January. Leave your email on the form to be told first.

Is travel included?

No. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Do you cater for access needs?

Yes. Tell us what you need to apply, or to join us on the night, and we will arrange it: hello@themuseawards.group.

Your content and data

What happens to my posts?

Your work stays yours. We use your posts to judge your entry and, if you are a finalist, to announce it, always credited to you, until the end of 2028.

What do you do with my data?

We use your details to run the awards and to write to you as described. They are never sold, and never shared with partners without your separate consent. Privacy notice.

About us

How do I know it is genuine?

A fair question for a first edition. The rules, criteria and dates are published in full, deadlines are fixed, and if the ceremony does not go ahead every entry fee is refunded. Payments run through Shopify Payments, and every entry gets a receipt and a reference. About us.

Are you connected to other awards called MUSE?

No. The MUSE Awards London are independent and not connected to any other awards with a similar name.
